About the speaker:

He graduated from the University's First High School in Chorzów. In 2008 he graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Cracow University of Technology, and in 2010 he completed his doctoral studies there as well. In 2005, he studied at the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Knoxville in Tennessee. In 2007, he completed an internship at the Gensler Architecture Studio in New York, and in 2008 in Dublin. From 2008 to 2010 he worked at the Katowice-based architectural studio Franta & Franta Architekci sp. z o.o..
Since 2010, he has been running the Franta Group Architects studio in Katowice, which brings together more than 20 architects and is involved in the design of architecture and urban planning of housing estates, public and service buildings. The studio's projects have received numerous awards in competitions in Poland and internationally. In 2022, it was awarded the title of Architect of the Year 2021 in a competition organised by The Architecture Community and made it to the list of the 40 most promising young architects in the 40 under 40 poll organised by The European Centre.
