About the speaker:

He started his professional career in 2009 as an acoustician in Gorycki & Sznyterman design office. Since then, he has participated in numerous works related to the design of newly constructed buildings of cultural institutions, as well as modernisation of many recognised concert halls in Poland, including the Centennial Hall in Wrocław, the National Philharmonic in Warsaw, and the Kraków Philharmonic.

His achievements include numerous publications in scientific journals. He is a co-author of patent applications, utility models and industrial designs. He has participated in many research works, e.g. as part of a tender procedure at the Grand Theatre - National Opera for a system of acoustic support and subjective testing.

He defended his PhD at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow in the field of Mechanics with the title "Acoustic aspects of orchestral moat construction in the context of interaction with the stage".

He lectures at the Stanisław Staszic University of Science and Technology in Kraków and the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. He is a member of the Polish Acoustical Society and the European Acoustics Association.
