We are delighted to announce that this year’s editions of the International Architecture and Interior Design Fair KIAF, taking place this autumn in Kraków and Gdańsk, will focus on a highly relevant and much-needed topic: WELLBEING.
In 2025, we want to join forces with you to explore how architecture and interior design can have a real impact on the quality of human life – in private, professional, and public spaces alike.
What does wellbeing mean in the context of architecture and design?
It’s more than aesthetics. It’s a conscious design process that supports both physical and mental health, fosters a sense of security, ensures comfort, and facilitates everyday functioning.
WELLBEING in practice:
Private spaces:
-
natural materials and access to daylight,
-
fresh air and clear separation between work and relaxation,
-
silence, privacy, and sensory comfort.
Modern workplaces:
-
diverse zones for work, collaboration, and rest,
-
proper lighting, acoustics, and ergonomics,
-
spaces that support daily movement and regeneration.
The city of the future:
-
outdoor meeting areas,
-
micro-parks, green zones, and infrastructure that fosters human connection.
This is just the beginning of the conversation on wellbeing – expect more inspiring ideas, lectures, and discussions this October and November at KIAF 2025!
